The Hundred Years War


In times of despair the Parisians tend to turn to Our Lady, Notre Dame. During the Hundred Years War the silent statues of the Virgin patiently listen to the prayers of the innumerable victims of the bubonic plague. In the face of pestilence, famine and bloodshed the devotion of the Parisians is put to the test. In their cathedral of Notre Dame the English King Henry VI, is crowned King of France. Could this coronation have taken place under the auspices of their heavenly Queen?
